Ace Pilot | South Bend Child Photographer

I always like to find out how my clients found me.  His mom is a graphic designer and crafter extraordinaire (you’ll see her handy work later).  She came across my work when it was featured on the Inspire Me Baby website.

He’s going to be turning 1 very, very soon.   Immobile 1 year olds make my job easy.  They can’t really run away, and they’re all about interacting and having fun!  There’s just something about this photograph that I’m drawn to.  The look in his eyes.  The smile on his face.  He knows he’s cute!

His dad is a Notre Dame alum, so he took me on a tour of parts of the campus I had never been before. And I learned many interesting facts that I didn’t know. I’ll share a few between the photos.
ND interesting fact #1: The yellowy bricks on the older buildings were actually made from the mud in the lakes on campus. Who knew?.
ND interesting fact #2: The priests actually live in the dorms amongst the students. At the end of the session, his parents wanted to take a few with his Halloween costume. They told me they were dressing him up as a pilot. The costume was completely adorable, and I wondered where they  found such a unique costume. Then I noticed his name was on the jacket. So, I asked if someone made the costume, to which his mom replied that she had. I was impressed. She even made hat without a pattern! That is some talent right there.
