A Storm and Some Sunshine

This family was way fun to photograph!  Mom is also a photographer (SJ2 Photography), so she brought along some crafty ideas for the session.  We first met at a local golf course (her husband loves to golf, and so do their boys).  The sun was shiny and bright when we got there, but as we drove around to find our spot, storm clouds were approaching quickly.  So, we got to work quickly, hoping the clouds would miss us.

The clouds kept coming and coming and coming. Unfortunately, we had to call it a night and try again the next day. As I drove towards home, rain began to fall. We tried again the next evening, and thankfully the rain came earlier in the day and we were golden to finish their session. While Mom & Dad were being photographed, their boys brought their inner artists. The oldest is really into the Earth right now. When I saw his drawing, this photo came into my mind. In the end, the boys unleashed their jumping powers and had fun in the puddles. See, I told you it was fun! 🙂
