It’s not often that your childhood friend returns for a baby shower and I get to photograph her baby bump. But that’s just what I was able to do earlier this week. We grew up in the same church, and I was always astounded at her many talents…amazing singer, musician (don’t know if there is an instrument she can’t play), reader, writer, and I could go on but she’s probably reading this and thinking, “OK, Traci. Please stop.” I just have to share one little recollection that I don’t think I’ve ever told anybody…I remember sitting in Sunday School and we were taking turns reading aloud. I always hoped that she would read because she read so well and fluently. I wished someday that I might be able to read like that. I’m pretty sure she started reading before she even entered kindergarten, so basically, she’s my hero. And now she’s bringing a new life in to this world. ♥

Jozi you are too cute! And yes you could read before you went to school. Love the pictures!
Beautiful photos! You capture the excitement and sweetness of this soon-to-be Mom!
Traci, you did such a great job! Thank you so much for giving us such great images of this reeeeeally surreal time. And for such sweet words that made me all nostalgic and teary-eyed. 🙂
Traci, I love the photos! My first grandbabybump! (I know that isn’t really a word, but first time for everything, right?!) I can finally see to type after looking at the pictures! Thanks so much for capturing this awesome time in the lives of Andy and Jozi. Like Jozi said–it’s just plain surreal. What a gift you have to share!
