My niece recently celebrated her birthday, and I was feeling a little nostalgic. So, I went back into my photo archives and found the photos that I took of her 4 years ago with the Nikon d40, my first dslr camera. I begged my husband for the d40 because I thought it would take better photographs. Well, that was before I realized the camera can only take photographs equal to the knowledge of the photographer.
The first two photographs were before my first photography class with the uber fabulous Karen Russell, and the second two were after. If you have one of those nice cameras, I encourage you to move that dial off auto, and learn how to drive that camera. You won’t regret it!
Cute as ever! Fun seeing how they start looking older each year.
