Introducing Callie – one of my Class of 2012 Senior Models. We actually met each other last fall, when I photographed her and her sister. I knew right then and there that she would a stellar Senior Model. And she did not disappoint! After a reschedule due to rain (if you live around these parts, no big shocker there!), we met up on a gorgeous Friday evening. Callie has a great casually chic style. She’s an Anthropologie affectionado – a girl after my own heart. Callie spends many, many hours at the gym training for cheerleading and dancing competitions. I have no doubt that she will be super successful in anything she puts her heart and mind into. There’s a light in her eyes that fuels her soul.
I would be remiss if I didn’t mention this sweet, little story. We ended the session in a field of flowers on my friend’s property. Unbeknownst to me, my friend was a student in Callie’s mom’s high school English class. As Callie and I were enjoying the flowers and buttery light, my friend and her mom were catching up. My friend was in her English class when she was expecting Callie, and was inspired at that moment to name her future daughter (if she was blessed with one) after Callie. Her firstborn was a girl. What a perfect ending to a perfect evening!
callie keeps saying “are you really crying mom?” lol..oh traci, God has given you such a talent w/ the lense, light, word, and such a kind soul. We are SO lucky to have met you! These pictures are just beautiful and it just breaks my heart that callie can be all grown up. Thank you for capturing her heart <3
