Whenever I arrive at a location where I’ll be shooting, I first look for the good light because that makes a world of difference in creating photographs that speak to my heart. I had fun with this senior looking and finding the light. She is actually an exchange student from Moldova, a country in Eastern Europe. She has been living with my aunt and uncle this year, and our family has thoroughly enjoyed getting to know her this year. Earlier in the fall, she joined us on the 3rd annual Beachy Ladies Shopping Trip to Schaumburg where she got to experience the awesomeness of IKEA, Cheesecake Factory, and Woodfield Mall. Right now, she is planning on returning to her country and hopefully attending college somewhere. I admire her for the strength and courage it required to leave her home and family to come to our country and experience life in the US of A.
