I’m super excited to show off my new logo and look to the blog! My friend, Heidi Henke of Colorfly Design, worked with me (I thank her for the patience she showed as I worked and tweaked my vision for the logo). I’ve been thinking about a catchy phrase to go along with my photography. As I thought about the word photography, I broke it down into it’s two meaningful parts (or morphemes, if you want to get technical) – photo & graph. If we go back to the roots of each part, photo means “light” and graph means “to write”. So, photography literally means writing with light. Now, how to connect that to my logo?
