On Friday morning, I woke up before dawn to travel to Indianapolis to meet up with Rachel Vanoven for a newborn mentoring session. Rachel is a fabulous newborn photographer and teacher. I am definitely a hands-on learner, so I knew this mentoring session was exactly what I was looking for. Rachel (and our 3 newborn models) did not disappoint!
Model #1: The lone boy for the day. He slept like a king and kept everyone nice and clean!
Model #2: Our first of two girls for the day. She was super cute and sleepy!
Model #3: Our second girl of the day. Her skin and rolls were perfection!
I want to thank Rachel for her openness and willingness to share with new and growing photographers. She also has a fabulous Newborn Posing Guide that I highly recommend for newborn photographers who want to learn some tricks of the trade and how to pose newborns safely.
Rachel posted about our mentoring session too. Check out her take on it: http://rachelvanoven.com/blog/21-mentoring-session-indianapolis-newborn-photographer/

Love them so much, Traci!! We’ve got to keep finding reasons to meet up!! 🙂
Love all of them! How in the world do you get a baby to sit like that! Amazing!
